Granted Worldwide Rights to FOX Sports Robot License

HONG KONG - May 28, 2008 - WowWee Group Limited, an Optimal Group company (NASDAQ: OPMR), today announced that it has been granted worldwide rights to market the FOX Sports Robot, which appears during NFL on FOX game broadcasts. Through a licensing agreement with Twentieth Century Fox Licensing and Merchandising, a division of 20th Century Fox Television, WowWee will develop and market robotic figures and electronic accessories based upon the FOX Sports Robot, the recognized and celebrated icon of America's favorite spectator sport. WowWee's FOX Sports Robot merchandise will launch in 2009.

In 2007, FOX Sports and Twentieth Century Fox Licensing and Merchandising launched a licensing program around the FOX Sports Robot, the first initiatives of which were an on-air "Name the Robot" promotion and an Emmy-nominated 3D-CG show opener for the FOX's Super Bowl XLII broadcast.

"The FOX Sports Robot has evolved into a fan-favorite that is resonating with avid sports fans of every demographic around the nation. We are excited about our alliance with WowWee who are industry innovators and who share our passion for our treasured mascot" stated Michael Peikoff, Senior-Vice President, 20th Century Fox Licensing and Merchandising.

WowWee is well known for the Robosapien™ robot, the world's first commercially-available biomorphic robot with global sales of more than 5 million units. FOX Sports Robot fans eager to scope out the latest in the WowWee Robotics™ line can visit, which now features the RS Tri-Bot™ robot, a three-wheeled personality-packed companion launching this summer.
